6 July 2020 – Alessandro Cresci has been appointed as a member ICES Working Group on Offshore Wind Development and Fisheries (WGOWDF), chaired by Andrew Lipsky, Andrew Gill, and Antje Gimpel. The working group will generate review papers, methods publications, and recommendation reports assessing the impacts of offshore wind farms on fishery operations and fishing communities, fishery-independent surveys, fishery-dependent data, and marine habitat alterations. Alessandro will contribute as expert on the behavior of early life stages of marine organisms, particularly fish.
